Beware the Vultures

RAW Skateboards out of Somerville Massachsetts, has just released this series of boards and tees that I designed ofr them.  I'm really excited about the final product.  Titled "Beware of the Vultures", this is the first series that I have done that combines to make a single image.  You can see the full image on my Flickr page.  They also made a series of t-shirts from pieces of the art.

These guys are the real deal.  Support small business skate-companies that believe in their product and care about skateboarding.  My brother just pointed out this coverage on G4.  Pretty nutty.

Acclaim Magazine 21

On stands now, is issue 21 of Australia's Acclaim Magazine.  This issue's theme is FRIENDS, and features an article about the perverbial best friend of man, including the coolest dog I've ever met, my faithful mate Pizza.  Photos were contributed by another good friend, and talented photographer, Greg Bethmann, with a full page shot of me and "little man", plus two other awesome shots.

They really got the theme covered, as I also collaborated with another good friend, and Born Ugly co-founder Mickael Broth, on an essay about underground projects.  Mike came through with a hilarious portratit of a local bozo, illustrating how the denser part of the population can screw up fun and waste hard work.

Other material in Issue 21, includes an interview between art icons Gary Panter and Todd James, a chat between Stones Throw art director Jeff Jank and comic artist Benjamin Marra, and much more….  Accalim is available in most bookstores, and you can find out more information at their site. http://acclaimmag.com/
