Screaming Hand

This is my entry for Santa Cruz Skateboards draw the next screaming hand contest.  I really like that they did this as a snail mail only format for entries, and took out a full page ad in Thrasher that you could rip out, draw on, and mail in.  I was compelled to enter out of reverence to the great Jim Phillips, original artist of the Screaming Hand;  a true innovator and unparalleled draftsman.  If you don't know, look him up and get you're mind blown.  People (including myself) having been ripping off his ideas for decades.  Pure genius....

Atlantic Ghost Empire

A.G.E. (Atlantic Ghost Empire) is the story from author Will Thaxton of an alternate 1970's where a Soviet attack has left the majority of America a devastated waste land. New York City, along with most former coastal regions, are now mostly underwater.  Visit the site and subscribe to regular multi-media rich updates, chapter by chapter.  As new characters are introduced,  new drawings of them by yours truly will be added to the cast bio page.

Out Today!

I have 8 pages of artwork in this new release from Marvel Comics! Marvel Heartbreakers #1 has a cover by Mike del Mundo which features Tabitha Smith, who is also one of the main characters from the story that Rick Spears and I worked on together.  We'll both be hanging out at Velocity Comics Friday evening, alongside Jim Rugg at his book signing for the amazing, new release of  Afrodisiac.  Go to your local comic book retailer and ask them to carry both of these books, and if you don't know where your local comic shop is, find it here.

Loose Limbs

The guys at Loose Limbs have revamped their site.  Check it out for the latest in Richmond event listings and show poster art.  Some of it is even for sale through the site.  High quality screen prints for a steal!  The new Loose Limbs is contributor based, so if you've got a show going on, this is the perfect place to list it and show off the promotional artwork.  I've got a few wacky eyesores floating around there too.  Check'em out!
